Butterblooms
Once a common flower, the butterbloom is mostly used as a gift between friends and loved ones as a sign of care and affection. As one of the few plants that can grow in the arid region around the Whistledowns without assistance, it has become a symbol of endurance, hope, and love in harsh times.
The customary response to receiving a butterbloom is to use its sweet, buttery petals as a seasoning or garnish for a dish prepared to share with whomever presented the flower itself.

Type: White Tea Blend
Caffeine: Medium
Ingredients: Organic white tea, organic cinnamon, organic pink peppercorn*, organic marigolds, natural and artificial flavors. *considered an allergen in the tree nut family
Recipe: Add 1 tbsp (about 2g) to 8 fl oz (235 ml) of water at 180°F (82°C). Steep for 3 minutes.

Our teas and tisanes are made with Direct-Trade (and mostly organic) ingredients, meaning they are sourced directly from producers and not bought off the commodity market. This ensures we know exactly where our ingredients come from, and it makes us confident we are sourcing some of the best quality product while ensuring equitable treatment of producers at origin.
We recognize the shortcomings of single-use packaging. Our new packaging not only includes a zipper for preserving freshness, but the majority of its construction is made up of biodegradable materials.
