Hidden in the fungus-ridden roots of the Winding Woodlands sits the small village of Shroomsdale, where tiny, peaceful peoples strive for simple lives in their hollowed-out mushed-rooms and root-homes, enjoying each other’s company in the quiet quaintness of the forest floor.
But simple life is harder to come by these days, as the pesky tallfolk of nearby kingdoms have taken to cutting into the woods to satisfy their needs for land and lumber. Thankfully, the little denizens have a gift for tinkering and friends in the low places of Elderholm, helping them develop giant, mechanical suits to fend off the de-foresters—and have some fun while they’re at it.

This coffee hails from Finca Relámpago near the Volcán de Agua. Relámpago (Spanish for lightning) is more than a name here — it’s a symbol of light, elevation, and transformation.

Our coffee is made with only Direct-Trade beans, meaning the beans are sourced directly from producers and not bought off the commodity market. We never add flavorings of any kind, and all prices we pay are far above the Fair Trade minimum.
If brewing by pourover or using a drip machine, start with a 1:16 coffee-to-water mass ratio. If lacking a scale, use about 3 tbsp of ground coffee for every 8 fl. oz. of water you want to turn into coffee!
If the brew seems too weak, try making the grind size finer, or add more ground coffee per water. If the brew is too strong, try increasing the grind size or increasing the amount of water per ground coffee.
