Electric Sheep

$15.00

Decaf for the dreamers.

12oz bag
A game night that goes, well, into the night, doesn't always call for our non-decaf coffee. If energy's already high and your group wants to go to sleep at a reasonable time, Electric Sheep fills in for that perfect substitute. This coffee has been decaffeinated using the Sugarcane Decaffeinating Method.  What results is delicious coffee without the buzz and no medicinal or chemical-y aftertaste.

Origin: Colombia

Electric Sheep is grown by various smallholders in the Valle Del Cauca region in Colombia at an altitude of 1750 MASL.

Roast: Medium

A medium roast gives this coffee a robust flavor, highlighting a pleasant, developed sweetness.  Think caramel, fresh bread, and brown sugar.

Processing: Sugarcane Decaf

The Sugarcane process that extracts caffeine from Electric Sheep leaves a delicious coffee that tastes like... coffee!

Our Favorite Decaf

Decaf doesn't always get the love it deserves from coffee people.  We wouldn't sell one if we didn't think we could source and roast something delicious and worthy of your game table.

Electric Dreams with Electric Sheep

While all coffee, regardless of it being decaf or otherwise has some degree of caffeine, I did not notice it with Electric Sheep. I was able to enjoy an entire mug and still slept soundly only an hour afterwards. Definitely recommended for people who want the taste of coffee without the jitters.

Best Decaf ever

I got the Misty Valley Treasured Realm feature and samples of all the coffee beans the store had to offer for my husband's birthday/anniversary, so birthversary. The decaf is an absolute stand out and we will be getting a full sized bag of it to enjoy as a treat.

Solid, Enjoyable

Electric Sheep was a solid coffee, I normally drink Swiss Water Decaf so I was interested in the sugar method. It does leave a little bit of sweetness. I drank several cups on their own, and it was enjoyable, not remarkable. I usually create my own 1/2 caff blends, so I first did a 60/40 split of Sheep with Great Old one, and it was not bad. They combine well. Overall though there was nothing that screamed to me $15 bag of coffee, other than supporting a company that supports some good causes. I'd buy it again to add to my rotation.

What a reaction!

The camera was still rolling when we gave our friend Anita (founder of Slow Pour Supply and one of the nicest individuals ever) a cup of Electric Sheep, our decaf -- WITHOUT telling her it was decaf! We highly value Anita's opinions on coffee, so it was awesome to get her reaction!
