Bright & Juicy Single Origin | Light Roast | 12 oz
$22.00
Lamp's Light is a seasonally rotating series of fruity, floral, and bright single-origins we find from across the globe.
The current batch is a natural light-roast of Guji, Ethiopia. Our importer calls this floral-fruit-forward coffee "a wild ride though strawberry fields with a hint of spice." We couldn't have said it better ourselves, but we'll call out some notes to give you something to think about: cherry-raspberry, lemongrass, and peach.
Subscribers take heed! This single origin series is set to rotate on a non-regular basis. Pricing may increase or decrease when coffee rotates.
Nobility Is Earned. "Remember that all worlds draw to an end and that noble death is a treasure which no one is too poor to buy." - C.S. Lewis, The Last Battle
Ingredients: Organic coffee.
If brewing by hand or using a drip machine, start with a 1:16 coffee-to- water mass ratio. If lacking a scale, use about 3 tbsp of ground coffee for every 8 fl. oz. of coffee you want to brew. Decadent and sweet, this brew is best enjoyed with a fluffy breakfast pastry, or a cozy afternoon game in your comfiest chair.
The Many Worlds Tavern Lamp's Light is an excellently bright and flavorful coffee. A great way to start your morning, no matter how it's prepared and brewed!

Delicious and smooth, even pre-ground!
I’m usually a coffee drinker who grinds their own beans every morning, but my grinder broke and I haven’t replaced it yet. I came to the store page to order some stickers, but decided to pick up a bag of coffee while I was here after seeing the pre-ground option. It arrived in a sealed bag, still fresh, still delicious. Worth picking up if the tasting notes strike your fancy.

Nope! For coffee, a simple coffee maker will usually do the trick. For the best coffee, make sure your coffee maker gets the water really hot (ideally, just off the boil) and that it contacts all of the grounds in your bed of coffee. We offer pre-ground and whole bean coffee—if you don't have a grinder, no problem! In time, if you would like to invest in a grinder for a fresher coffee experience, we have one for sale here.
If you're a super coffee nerd (like most of us are), we love talking about manual coffee brewing in our Discord. However, brewing with a fancy setup is definitely not required.
All of our teas are loose leaf, so you will likely want a way to strain your tea after brewing. This can be as simple as pouring through a small strainer you have in your kitchen, using your own tea bags, or utilizing something from our range of teawares here.
It's important to use the right temperature for tea brewing. You can use a simple kitchen thermometer. If you're interested in a temperature-controlled kettle, check out our favorite one here.
Great question!
If you're not familiar with Fairtrade, here's a description from their site:
"Fairtrade changes lives by changing trade. We transfer wealth back to farmers and workers in developing countries who deserve a decent income and decent work."
MWT Coffees do not have the “Fairtrade” designation, but we believe strongly in the values of their organization. Their impact is significant with coffee farmers that trade on the global coffee commodity market.
Most specialty coffee roasters like Many Worlds buy their coffee from importers that bypass this commodity market, allowing farmers to get more competitive offers and often set their own prices for the beans they sell. The specialty coffee importers we work with are able to give us greater transparency on the coffees we buy to ensure we’re paying and sourcing ethically, and currently the minimum price we pay for any coffee per pound is over double the Fairtrade standard price.
Store in a cool, dark, dry place (like a cupboard or pantry) for the best experience. Avoid storing in the fridge, as taking coffee and tea in and out of the refrigerator can cause some unwanted condensation.
