Kawaguchi • At the northern mouth of the Ainokawa rests the storied, humble town of Kawaguchi.
Eons ago, Kawaguchi was a battlefield—the crux of a war ended by a band of destined heroes. It was there they rose to their destiny, defeating an apocalyptic threat from another world.
With their adventure’s end, the heroes chose to stay and help rebuild a local village over the following months. But word of their victory traveled fast. Soon, Kawaguchi was receiving a steady flow of budding adventurers from across the world, coming to learn under the living legends of the river’s end.
The heroes chose to stay and teach, founding the culture Kawaguchi is known for: mentorship and training for adventurers of humble beginnings. Who knows when the world might need more heroes?
Ingredients: Roasted coffee.
If brewing by hand or using a drip machine, start with a 1:16 coffee-to-water mass ratio. If lacking a scale, use about 3 tbsp of ground coffee for every 8 fl. oz. of coffee you want to brew.
Magic Item: Cuddlecat
Wondrous Item, Rare
This soft, stuffed cat toy is woven with mind-altering magic. Cuddling with it is known to help bolster the user's memory. When you cuddle with it during a short rest, you can choose to recover a number of expended spell slots equal to your Proficiency Bonus. For example, if your Proficiency Bonus is 2, you can recover up to two levels worth of spell slots. You can recover either a 2nd-level spell slot of two 1st level-spell slots. This ability functions only once each day, and the cat regains the ability each day at dawn.
In addition, whenever you cuddle with this cat during either a short or long rest, you gain advantage to all Intelligence ability checks for the first hour after your rest ends.

I get cranky when I have to drink coffee NOT from Many Worlds Tavern. That’s not to say it’s the only brand worth its salt, I’m not saying that. I’m saying I tried a lot of different home delivery coffee brands and this one is the best one I’ve found in 15 years. They always have great flavor, the coffee isn’t bitter, I’m able to drink it black or spiced with a bit of luck (creamer, whiskey, etc hat-have-you), and it’s perfect for any time of day, or evening. I recommend this brand to all of my co-workers. And I know one of them has already purchased, and one of them is still trying to decide what tea he wants.
For a while I have just bought regular flavored coffee and have felt meh about it. I bought this to check it out with the monthly tea and dice. I feel like I have been missing out on great coffee! A huge difference in flavor and quality from my normal buy. I also really like that you can chose the grind. It has been working really well with my cold brew maker. I know prices are going up but it is well worth it. Plus just a great company, happy to support them and get some great products.
The description of this coffee could not be more spot on. The panela note is strong for sure, lending the sweetness. I also get the cooked raspberry on the back end which is unique but tasty. This is one of the smoothest Tanzanian blends I've tried too, and it's super light and doesn't linger on the palate. It is very much encapsulating a familiar adventure. Surprising winner for me this month 😁
Treasured Realm
First, for a medium roast this one brewed to a visually quite dark color for me. It's quite strong in flavor, has a bitter side but not an unpleasant one. Notes are a little harder to pull out for me this time. If I really sit there with it I get the nuttiness of the almond in the middle of my palate and there's a brown sugar effect to the upper back of the palate. Caramel maybe comes in after, as a finish note. Overall very smooth and rich bodied for me.
