Yatamon Spirits is a washed-process, medium-roasted coffee from Jinotega, Nicaragua. Pleasantly sweet with notes of roasted pecans, bittersweet chocolate, black tea, and prune, this coffee tastes much better than most other concoctions at your local potion shop.

Yatamon • The most populous city in Obojima, Yatamon is a bustling hub of trade near the southern coast of the Gift of Shuritashi.

Among the steep streets and twisting staircases of this trading hub, hagglers exchange buds and petals for goods and services, spirits inhabit technology from kei trucks to neon signs, and witches brew mischief and magic to their whims. It’s a fast pace of life for the Obojimans here, and the city itself seems to perpetuate it evermore—maintaining its mystical infrastructure all on its own, and even lending some small magical abilities to the trades of its denizens.

Ingredients: Roasted coffee.

If brewing by hand or using a drip machine, start with a 1:16 coffee-to-water mass ratio. If lacking a scale, use about 3 tbsp of ground coffee for every 8 fl. oz. of coffee you want to brew.

Magic Item: Hunter's Aid

Potion, Uncommon

When this potion is poured out, an ethereal marker swims toward the enemy with the fewest Hit Points within 120 feet of you. The marker circles the enemy, revealing it to you and your allies, before vanishing in a burst of sparks.

Absolutely love it.

I get cranky when I have to drink coffee NOT from Many Worlds Tavern. That’s not to say it’s the only brand worth its salt, I’m not saying that. I’m saying I tried a lot of different home delivery coffee brands and this one is the best one I’ve found in 15 years. They always have great flavor, the coffee isn’t bitter, I’m able to drink it black or spiced with a bit of luck (creamer, whiskey, etc hat-have-you), and it’s perfect for any time of day, or evening. I recommend this brand to all of my co-workers. And I know one of them has already purchased, and one of them is still trying to decide what tea he wants.

Aug 2025: Steelpine

A solid everyday option. I wouldn't say anything stands out to me as unusual or unique, it's just a nice, pleasant, nutty coffee. I mostly get the almond notes and a little sweetness, the chocolate note is more subtle to me this time than it has been in previous blends, and I'm getting more of a bitterness than acidity overall. Though, drinking as I write this, I did just catch a little acidity right at first sip, and the chocolate was more forward on the palate which made me miss it at first. Very smooth and drinkable, and has be debating a second bag this month.
