As someone who usually reaches for medium or dark roasts, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this light roast. It’s floral, fruity, and smooth — not as bold as what I normally go for, but that’s exactly what makes it special. This has officially replaced every other Earl Grey I used to buy! The package lasts such a long time, even though I reach for it often. I love that it isn’t overly bitter like many Earl Greys — it’s smooth, fragrant, and blends beautifully with my sweeteners for the perfect London Fog. But honestly, it’s just as lovely on its own. I’m a total green tea girly and have been hunting for my new go-to jasmine green — and this is it! The flavor is beautifully balanced, with fresh floral aromas that make it both refreshing and calming. It’s the perfect pick-me-up for mornings or a soothing cup in the afternoon.

I was so excited to see this return; I waited to buy some for myself and a tea loving friend that I had split the original bag of Pteroberry with. Bright and refreshing! If it became a mainstay I would be thrilled.
Gold Drop was such an incredible tea last year I had to order two more bags when this sale came up. That being said, this is a limited release but the entire fabled foliage offering usually involves creative expressions of classic teas that are so exciting to open each month. It’s literally been my favorite time of the month since I started subscribing. Opening the tea and getting it portioned into jars and exploring the 5e content. MWT does awesome work.
